Country: This is used as a default when creating user profiles. The country code for the user profile will be established as a default on pages where country code is required (excluding address). The user's country and language will be used to establish user locale which will control presentation of numeric values, dates, hours, text, error messages, etc.
Printer Name: The default printer for system reports.
Barcode Type: This is used as a default when creating customer and carrier profiles. Bar code for carrier can be used when generating documents for freight that will be handled by for the customer or by the carrier.
Freight Class: This is used as a default when creating user profiles. The default freight class for the user will be used when creating customers. The default freight class for customer will be used when creating shipments.
Profit Center: This is used as a default when creating customer profiles. Profit Center is one of the dimensions in the G/L Account Designation Matrix.
Customer Profile Type: This is used as a default when creating customers. Customer profile type supports two values: Customer, Supplier. The customer associated with shipments representing inbound freight will typically refer to a supplier while the customer profile for outbound freight will typically be a customer.
Commodity: This is used as a default when creating user profiles. The default commodity for the user will be used when creating customers. The commodity for the customer will be the default when creating a shipment for the customer. Each shipment refers to exactly one commodity. Tariff lanes can optionally be commodity specific. Configuration options can be used to prevent a commodity from being combined with another commodity or from being loaded onto certain types of equipment.
Shipment Version: This is used as a default when creating user profiles. The default shipment version for the user is used when creating customers. The shipment version for the customer will be the default when creating a shipment for the customer.
Shipment Type: This is used as a default when there is no applicable customer profile. The Shipment Type for the customer will be used as a default when creating a shipment. Shipment Type defines various characteristics for the shipment.
SCAC: This value is not currently active.
Carrier Type: This is used as a default when creating carrier profiles. Carrier Type is a user-definable classification. Potential values are defined in the user-maintainable carrier type domain table.
Equipment Type: When a tariff service is created, this equipment type is enabled by default. To ensure that this equipment type is valid for all tariff services, the combo box that presents potential values only includes equipment types where the driver control is Team or Single Driver.
Manifest Group: This is used as a default when creating a tariff service for a carrier specific tariff or a customer specific carrier tariff. The value defined for a tariff service is applicable when tariff service is assigned to shipment leg following the manifest work flow. Shipment legs from different services for same tariff can be combined onto same manifest if they reference the same manifest group.
Default Screen Height (Pixels): Used as a default value when creating a new user profile. The value in the user profile establishes a default screen size when the user initially logs on. The value in the user profile is reset, if necessary, each time the user issues a request from any TM web page.
Default Screen Width (Pixels): Used as a default value when creating a new user profile. The value in the user profile establishes a default screen size when the user initially logs on. The value in the user profile is reset, if necessary, each time the user issues a request from any TM web page.
